Rutile and anatase grades for paint, plastics, ink, paper and cosmetics.
Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) is the primary white pigment used across industry — the single biggest driver of whiteness and opacity in paints and coatings, and usually the largest raw-material cost in a can of paint. Its exceptionally high refractive index means a small amount delivers outstanding hiding power.
Aleemsons supplies consistent rutile and anatase grades of titanium dioxide from reputable global manufacturers, from ready stock and by indenting for bulk, with certificates of analysis and full documentation.
Rutile is the default for paints, coatings, plastics and any outdoor or UV-exposed application because of its higher opacity and durability. Anatase is used where a brighter, bluer white is wanted and durability is less critical, such as paper, indoor paints and ceramics.
