Fast-drying, abrasion-resistant binder for CR road-marking paint and protective coatings.
Chlorinated rubber is natural or synthetic rubber treated with chlorine to form a hard, film-forming resin. CR-20 is a specific viscosity grade widely used in coatings — it dissolves in solvent and, once the solvent flashes off, leaves a tough, chemical-resistant film.
That combination of fast solvent release and a hard, durable film makes CR-20 a mainstay of cold-applied road-marking paint and marine / protective coatings. Aleemsons supplies CR-20 along with the pigments, plasticisers, solvents and glass beads that complete the formulation.
CR-20 dries fast and forms a hard, abrasion- and water-resistant film, so road lines cure quickly and stand up to constant traffic — which is exactly what a durable marking needs.
Aromatic solvents such as xylene and toluene are typically used to dissolve CR-20 in paint formulations. A plasticiser is added to give the hard film flexibility.
Yes — we supply the complete road-marking package: CR-20 binder, titanium dioxide and chrome pigments, plasticisers, solvents and glass beads.
