C9 hydrocarbon resin is an aromatic petroleum resin used as a performance modifier. It adds hardness, adhesion, gloss and water resistance to coatings and inks, acts as a tackifier and processing aid in rubber and tyres, and provides cohesive strength in adhesives.
In Pakistan, C9 hydrocarbon resin is commonly known by other names — petro resin, petrosin resin, petroleum resin or simply hydrocarbon resin — and Aleemsons supplies all of these as the same product family.
